TERMS OF USE
1. PREAMBLE AND ACCEPTANCE
This End User License Agreement together with the Privacy Policy (together referred to as the "EULA") constitutes a legally binding agreement between Jio Platforms Limited, a company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and having its registered office at 101-Saffron, Near Centre Point, Panchwati Rasta 5, Ambawadi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat – 380006 ("JPL", "we", "us", or "our"), and the end user ("you", "your", or "End User") who accesses, installs, downloads, registers on, or otherwise uses the Application (as defined below) and/or any Content made available thereon.
This EULA is an electronic record generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures. This EULA is published in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made thereunder, and the amended provisions relating to electronic records under applicable Indian laws.
BY CLICKING THE "I ACCEPT" BUTTON, OR BY ACCESSING, DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, REGISTERING ON, OR USING THE APPLICATION IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THIS EULA, THE PRIVACY POLICY, THE COMMUNITY GUIDELINES, AND ANY OTHER POLICIES, RULES, OR GUIDELINES ISSUED BY JPL FROM TIME TO TIME. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE ACCESSING OR USING THE APPLICATION.
JPL reserves the right to modify, amend, update, or replace this EULA at any time at its sole discretion. It is your responsibility to periodically review this EULA. Your continued access to or use of the Application after any modification shall constitute your deemed acceptance of the revised EULA. Discontinuation of use shall not affect the applicability of this EULA to your prior access or use.
2. DEFINITIONS
Unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them below:
2.1 "Affiliate(s)" means, with respect to JPL, any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with JPL, including without limitation any individual, partnership firm, limited liability partnership, company, trust, association, or other legal entity.
2.2 "Application" means the JioGames web application, mobile application, television application, or any other digital interface operated and controlled by JPL, including all updates, enhancements, and versions thereof, and includes JioGames Arena, JioGames Cloud, JioGames Watch, JioGames Esports, and the JioGames Store section.
2.3 "Content" means and includes all games, software, audio-visual works, streams, videos, images, graphics, text, music, sound recordings, trademarks, logos, interfaces, interactive features, and other digital materials made available by or through the Application, but expressly excludes User Content.
2.4 "Device" means any compatible internet-enabled device, whether now known or later developed, including but not limited to mobile phones, tablets, smart televisions, computers, set-top boxes, or other hardware through which the Application may be accessed.
2.5 "JioGames" means the digital gaming platform owned and operated by JPL through the Application.
2.6 "JioGames Store" means the branded store section within the Application, owned by Jio Platforms Limited and operated by Reliance Retail Limited ("RRL"), through which End Users may purchase digital redemption codes or similar products, subject to the applicable terms.
2.7 "Subscription Fee" means such fees as may be charged by JPL for access to certain categories of Content on a monthly, annual, or other periodic basis, as communicated on the Application.
2.8 "Tournaments" means esports tournaments or competitive gaming events conducted or facilitated by JPL, its Affiliates, or sponsors through the Application.
2.9 "User Content" means any data, text, images, comments, reviews, messages, or other materials uploaded, posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available by users through interactive or community features of the Application.
2.10 "Applicable Law" means all laws, statutes, rules, regulations, notifications, directions, judicial orders, and governmental requirements in force in India and in any applicable state or jurisdiction, including without limitation information technology laws, data protection laws, gaming and prize competition laws, consumer protection laws, tax laws, and sector-specific regulations.
3. ELIGIBILITY AND LEGAL CAPACITY
You represent and warrant that you are legally competent to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, you may use the Application only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by this EULA on your behalf and assumes full responsibility for your use.
JPL reserves the right to deny access to the Application to any person who does not meet the eligibility requirements or whose access is restricted under Applicable Law.
4. PLATFORM-WIDE GEO-RESTRICTION AND LOCAL LAW COMPLIANCE
4.1 Restricted States. Access to and use of the Application, including all Content, gameplay features, tournaments, and store functionalities, is not permitted for users located in, ordinarily resident in, or using payment instruments or bank accounts linked to the States of Nagaland, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, where such access or use may be restricted, conditional, or prohibited under local laws.
4.2 User Responsibility. You acknowledge and agree that it is your sole responsibility to ensure that your access to and use of the Application complies with all Applicable Laws, including state-specific gaming, prize, skill-based, or online activity regulations. JPL does not provide legal advice and does not represent that the Application is lawful for use in every jurisdiction.
4.3 Assumption of Risk. If you access or use the Application from a restricted jurisdiction or in violation of Applicable Law, you do so entirely at your own cost, risk, and consequences, and JPL shall have no liability whatsoever for such access or use.
4.4 Reasonable Controls; No Absolute Obligation. JPL may deploy reasonable technical, operational, or payment-based checks to restrict access from certain jurisdictions; however, JPL does not guarantee absolute prevention of access, and failure to block access shall not be construed as consent, approval, or waiver.
4.5 Indemnity for Local Law Violations. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JPL, its Affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, penalties, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to your violation of Applicable Law while accessing or using the Application.
4.6 No Waiver by Availability. The availability of the Application in any app store, platform, or jurisdiction shall not be construed as representation of legality or regulatory approval for use in such jurisdiction.
5. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT SECURITY
In order to access certain features of the Application, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information and to keep such information updated at all times.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities carried out through your account. JPL shall not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.
6. DEVICE PERMISSIONS AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
By installing and using the Application, you expressly consent to the Application requesting and being granted permissions that may include, without limitation, access to device location, storage, network information, device identifiers, and other technical data necessary for the functioning of the Application.
You acknowledge that high-speed internet access and compatible Devices are required for optimal performance, and that JPL shall not be responsible for issues arising from device limitations or network failures beyond its control.
7. GRANT OF LICENSE
7.1 Software License. You expressly acknowledge and agree that all rights, title, and interest in and to the Application, including all intellectual property rights therein, vest solely and exclusively in Jio Platforms Limited and/or its licensors. Subject to your strict and continuous compliance with this EULA, JPL hereby grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, access, and use the Application on Devices owned or controlled by you, solely for your personal, lawful, non-commercial use, and strictly in accordance with the terms set forth herein.
The Application includes, without limitation:
(i) the software application in object code and/or source code form;
(ii) scripts, interfaces, graphics, displays, text, documentation, and related components; and
(iii) any updates, modifications, enhancements, or derivative versions provided by JPL from time to time.
7.2 Content License. All Content made available through the Application is owned by JPL or licensed to JPL by third-party content providers. Subject to your strict compliance with this EULA, JPL grants you, for the duration of the applicable subscription (if any) and solely within the territory of India (subject to the restricted states clause herein), a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content for private, non-commercial viewing, streaming, downloading, or interaction solely through the Application and strictly as permitted by the relevant Content scope.
7.3 Reservation of Rights. Except for the limited rights expressly granted herein, no other rights or licenses are granted to you, whether by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, and all rights not expressly granted remain reserved by JPL and its licensors.
8. TERMS OF ACCESS AND USE OF CONTENT
8.1 Platform Purpose. The Application is intended solely as a digital platform for delivery of Content and interactive gaming experiences for personal entertainment purposes, including participation in esports tournaments facilitated by JPL, its Affiliates, users, or sponsors.
8.2 No Ownership. Your use of the Application does not confer any ownership interest in the Application or Content. All Content remains the exclusive property of JPL or its licensors.
8.3 Data Sharing for Operations. By accessing the Application, you consent to the collection, processing, and sharing of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy, including sharing with partners for content delivery, tournament administration, and prize fulfillment where applicable.
8.4 Modification of Content and Services. JPL reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion and without any obligation or liability (including refund or credit), to add, modify, suspend, or remove any Content, feature, subscription plan, or access right at any time.
8.5 Notice of Changes. Updates to this EULA may be communicated via registered email or in-Application notifications. End Users are encouraged to regularly review the EULA.
9. TECHNICAL UPDATES AND AVAILABILITY
JPL may from time to time provide updates, patches, or upgraded versions of the Application, but is under no obligation to do so. Availability and performance of Content may be affected by factors beyond JPL's control including network issues, hardware limitations, and third-party service disruptions.
10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND EXTERNAL WEBSITES
The Application may contain links or pointers to third-party websites or services. You acknowledge that JPL does not control, operate, or endorse such third-party platforms and is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
When you leave the Application, you are subject to the terms and privacy policies of the third-party platform. JPL shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your interaction with such platforms.
11. JIOGAMES STORE — OWNERSHIP, OPERATIONS & REDEMPTION
11.1 Ownership and Operation. The JioGames Store is owned by Jio Platforms Limited and operated by Reliance Retail Limited ("RRL") as a commercial retail service within the Application.
11.2 Nature of Products. The JioGames Store facilitates the sale of digital redemption codes and similar products which must be redeemed on the respective third-party platforms or games.
11.3 Redemption Responsibility. JPL and RRL do not control third-party redemption systems. You are responsible for complying with the redemption procedures of the respective service providers.
11.4 Transaction Support. For transaction-related issues, you may contact: support@jiogamesstore.com within twenty-four (24) hours of the transaction with invoice and redemption details.
11.5 Merchant of Record. The merchant of record and invoice issuer shall be as indicated on the transaction invoice.
12. SEARCH ENGINE INDEXING PERMISSION
You grant operators of public search engines permission to use automated tools (including spiders and crawlers) to index publicly available materials from the Application solely for creating searchable indices, but not for caching or archiving. JPL reserves the right to revoke this permission at any time.
13. RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF THE APPLICATION AND CONTENT
You shall use the Application strictly in accordance with this EULA and shall not, whether directly or indirectly:
13.1 Technical Misuse.
(i) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, decrypt, or attempt to derive source code of the Application;
(ii) modify, adapt, translate, enhance, create derivative works from, or incorporate any part of the Application into other software;
(iii) distribute, sublicense, lease, sell, loan, or commercially exploit the Application or Content;
(iv) bypass, disable, or interfere with security features or digital rights management mechanisms;
(v) install or use the Application across multiple Devices simultaneously except through authorized downloads;
(vi) make the Application available over a network for multi-user access.
13.2 Unlawful Use.
(vii) violate any Applicable Law including state-specific gaming restrictions;
(viii) infringe intellectual property rights;
(ix) use the Application for competitive or substitute services;
(x) scrape, crawl, harvest data, or interfere with Content delivery.
13.3 Interference.
(xi) disrupt servers, networks, or Application integrity;
(xii) disguise identity or origin of transmissions;
(xiii) engage in hacking or unauthorized access.
13.4 Branding and Display.
(xiv) remove proprietary notices;
(xv) embed, frame, stream, or retransmit Content without permission.
14. USER CONTENT AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
You may be permitted to upload or post User Content in interactive features subject to this EULA.
By submitting User Content, you grant JPL a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and exploit such content in any media.
JPL reserves the absolute right to remove User Content without notice.
15. PROHIBITED CONTENT (FULL COMPLIANCE LIST)
You shall not upload, share, publish, transmit, or make available any content which:
a) belongs to another person without rights;
b) is harmful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, invasive of privacy, hateful or unlawful;
c) is misleading;
d) promotes hatred or harm;
e) harasses individuals;
f) constitutes spam or solicitation;
g) promotes illegal activities;
h) infringes intellectual property;
i) promotes pirated works;
j) provides illegal instructional content;
k) solicits gambling;
l) harms minors;
m) violates any law;
n) impersonates others;
o) contains malware or viruses;
p) threatens sovereignty, security, public order, or foreign relations of India.
16. INTERMEDIARY POSITIONING (LIMITED TO USER CONTENT)
JPL operates the Application as a digital platform and may facilitate interactive features enabling users to post User Content. In respect of such User Content only, JPL acts as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules.
JPL does not control, endorse, or assume liability for User Content but reserves the right to monitor, remove, or disable access in compliance with Applicable Law.
JPL does not act as a passive conduit for proprietary Content offered on the Application.
17. FEES
17.1 Download and Access. The Application may be downloaded through online stores/e-stores and/or accessed through web interfaces, as applicable, and such download and/or access shall be subject to the terms and conditions of such stores/e-stores in addition to this EULA.
17.2 Subscription Fees. You hereby agree and acknowledge that, for accessing certain categories of Content and/or certain limited features, you may be required to pay the requisite subscription fee to JPL as per the subscription plan selected by you ("Subscription Fee"). PLEASE NOTE THAT SUBSCRIPTION FEES MAY BE APPLICABLE ONLY ON SELECT CATEGORIES OF CONTENT OR FEATURES AVAILABLE ON THE APPLICATION. THERE ARE NO CHARGES OR FEES PAYABLE TO JPL FOR USING THE APPLICATION UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED OTHERWISE BY JPL OR AS PER THE POLICIES OF THE RESPECTIVE CONTENT OWNERS OR APPLICABLE PLATFORM RULES.
17.3 Collection of Subscription Fee. At the time of subscribing for the Content or feature, you agree to JPL's collection of the Subscription Fee associated with the subscribed Content and/or feature as selected by you through your credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI and/or other modes of payment as may be authorized by JPL from time to time.
17.4 Third-Party Payment Gateways. You understand and acknowledge that JPL may facilitate third-party payment gateways for processing payments. This facility is managed by third-party service providers and you are required to follow all applicable terms and conditions of such providers. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, and completeness of the payment information provided by you, including but not limited to bank account numbers, card details, UPI handles, or other payment instrument details, and you agree and acknowledge that JPL shall not be liable or responsible for any losses whatsoever, whether direct or indirect, incidental or consequential, including without limitation losses due to delay in processing payment instructions, transaction failures, chargebacks, payment reversals, or any credit/debit card fraud.
17.5 Non-Refundability. Unless otherwise specified on the Application or required under Applicable Law, Subscription Fees once paid are non-refundable. The subscribed features shall automatically terminate upon expiry of the subscription period if the applicable renewal fee is not paid within a grace period of three (3) days from the expiry of the prior subscription period, where such grace is offered.
17.6 Connectivity and Access Costs. By using the Application, you acknowledge that the Content and features may be accessed through telecommunications and/or internet connections, and you are responsible for the provision of, and payment for, telecommunications and internet services including network/data charges, roaming charges, and any other access costs, as well as any necessary hardware or communications equipment. You shall not be entitled to any refund, credit or adjustment of Subscription Fees for any unavailability of the Content or features due to disruption, unavailability, or failure in your telecommunications equipment, internet connection, or third-party access services.
18. RIGHTS OF JPL; SUSPENSION; TERMINATION; ENFORCEMENT
18.1 Suspension/Termination Without Prior Notice. JPL, at its sole discretion, may terminate or suspend your access to the Application and/or any Content and/or your account, without any obligation to serve prior notice and without any obligations or liabilities towards you or any third party, except to the extent expressly mandated under Applicable Law.
18.2 Consequences of Breach. Upon your breach of this EULA, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, the Tournament Participation Rules, or any restrictions or guidelines of JPL for use of the Application and/or accessing Content, JPL reserves the right to take any responsive actions as it may deem appropriate, including without limitation temporary or permanent removal of Content, restriction of features, termination of subscription/account, and immediate suspension or cancellation of your access to the Application and/or Content, without any obligation on JPL to refund any Subscription Fee whether in whole or in part.
18.3 Legal and Technical Action. JPL may take legal and/or technical action against you that it may deem appropriate, including action against offenders to recover costs and expenses of identification, investigation, remediation, and enforcement.
18.4 Deletion and Retention of Data. Upon cancellation or termination of your subscription and/or account, JPL may be authorized to delete files, programs, data, comments, messages, and other materials associated with your account and/or usage, subject always to legal retention requirements, regulatory obligations, dispute resolution needs, fraud prevention, security monitoring, and such other legitimate business purposes as JPL may determine. Unless specifically requested by the End User and subject to feasibility and Applicable Law, JPL may retain End User related data for such period as it may deem necessary for compliance or commercial purposes.
18.5 Service Communications and Marketing. JPL may directly or through third-party service providers send information to you regarding the services offered by JPL and/or its Affiliates from time to time, including service updates, feature communications, and promotional communications, subject to the Privacy Policy and Applicable Law. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any agreement that you may have signed with JPL or any Affiliate, you agree that using any service/product of an Affiliate may enable sharing of your personally identifiable information with JPL to the extent permitted under Applicable Law and the Privacy Policy.
19. INDEMNITY
19.1 General Indemnity. You shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless JPL, its Affiliates, any third-party networks/infrastructure providers, and their respective directors, officers, employees, personnel, contractors and agents, from and against any and all claims, suits, actions, proceedings, judgments, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, fines, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your access to, use of, or inability to use the Application and/or Content; (b) your breach of this EULA, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, the Tournament Participation Rules, or any other restrictions or guidelines of JPL; (c) your violation of Applicable Law, including without limitation any local/state law restrictions applicable to gaming or online activities; (d) any User Content posted or transmitted by you; and/or (e) your fraudulent, unlawful, negligent, or wilfully improper conduct in connection with the Application.
19.2 Survival. This indemnification obligation shall survive termination or expiry of this EULA and your use of the Application and/or Content.
20. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
20.1 "AS IS" BASIS. THE APPLICATION AND ALL CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE APPLICATION ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS AND RISKS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, JPL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND THAT USE OF THE APPLICATION AND/OR CONTENT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, TIMELY OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE TERM OF ANY SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE.
20.2 No Regulatory Assurance. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, JPL does not represent or warrant that the Application will result in compliance, fulfillment, or conformity with the laws, regulations, requirements or guidelines of any governmental or regulatory authority, including any state-specific restrictions or conditions applicable to gaming, tournaments, contests, or online activities.
20.3 Content-Law Claims. To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, JPL provides no warranty with respect to the use of any Content and shall not be liable under intellectual property laws, defamation/libel, privacy, publicity, obscenity or other laws for End User misuse, unlawful access, or impermissible redistribution, and JPL disclaims all liability with respect to misuse, loss, modification, corruption or unavailability of any Content.
21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
21.1 Exclusion of Damages. THE APPLICATION AND CONTENT ARE BEING AVAILED BY YOU ON AN "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS AND YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK OF USING THE APPLICATION AND CONTENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JPL OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF INFORMATION OR DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE OR ACCESS, THE APPLICATION OR CONTENT, OR FOR ANY SECURITY BREACH OR ANY VIRUS, BUG, UNAUTHORIZED INTERVENTION, DEFECT, OR TECHNICAL MALFUNCTION, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE, WHETHER OR NOT JPL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY ARISES IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.
21.2 Cap on Liability. JPL'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY (WHETHER UNDER CONTRACT, TORT INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE), AND THAT OF ITS AFFILIATES, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AGGREGATE SUBSCRIPTION AMOUNT LAST PAID BY YOU TO ACCESS AND VIEW THE CONTENT. IF YOU HAVE NOT SUBSCRIBED TO ANY OFFERINGS PROVIDED BY JPL, THEN SUCH AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO INR 500 (FIVE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES).
21.3 Temporary Disablement/Discontinuance. For the avoidance of doubt, JPL shall not be liable for any temporary disablement, permanent discontinuance, modification, suspension or termination of the Application and/or any Content or feature, or for any consequences resulting from such actions.
22. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to mandatory statutory consumer rights, the courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear disputes arising out of or in connection with this EULA.
23. FORCE MAJEURE
JPL shall be under no liability whatsoever in the event of non-availability of any portion of the Application or Content occasioned by an act of God, war, disease, revolution, riot, civil commotion, strike, lockout, flood, fire, failure of any public utility, man-made disaster, infrastructure failure, governmental action, or any other cause whatsoever beyond the control of JPL.
24. COPYRIGHT NOTICE AND NOTICE FOR OTHER GRIEVANCES; GRIEVANCE OFFICER
In accordance with Applicable Law, including applicable intermediary and grievance redressal requirements, for any grievance, complaint, or notice including where you believe in good faith that any Content or information viewed through the Application infringes your copyright or other rights, you may contact:

25. WAIVER
Any failure by JPL to enforce any provision of this EULA for whatever reason shall not be construed as a waiver of any right to do so at any time thereafter.
26. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this EULA is deemed invalid, void, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this EULA.
27. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This EULA, together with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Tournament Participation Rules and any additional policies referenced herein, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings relating to the subject matter hereof.
28. LIMITED TIME TO BRING YOUR CLAIM
You and JPL agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Application or the Content must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, otherwise such cause of action shall be permanently barred, to the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law.
JIOGAMES-WATCH COMMENT / LIVE CHAT COMMUNITY RULES
1. Respect one another: Contributions must be civil and tasteful. No disruptive, offensive, or abusive behaviour. If you personally attack other contributors, your comment(s) and responses may be removed. You are responsible for libellous or defamatory comments.
2. Hate-speech will not be tolerated: Posts containing racism, homophobia, sexism, or any other form of hate-speech are not acceptable.
3. No unlawful or objectionable content: Unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
4. Keep your language in check: Do not post profanity, obscenities, abusive language, or otherwise objectionable content; no inappropriate usernames.
5. Do not impersonate someone else: Use of multiple logins to disrupt the community may result in action against accounts.
6. Spam and commercial content will be removed: Repetitive posts, commercial solicitation, or fundraising solicitation may be removed.
7. No misleading content: Do not post content intended to mislead, defraud, or harm users; links to illegal download sites are not tolerated.
8. Refrain from suspicious accounts: Do not respond to suspicious accounts or click third-party URLs posted by other users; you are responsible for outcomes.
9. Protect privacy: Do not post phone numbers, email/mailing addresses, passwords, credit card information, or other sensitive personal data.
10. Stay on topic: Comments should be related to the associated content.
11. Stop and think before you comment: We do not remove comments merely because a user regrets posting; comments may remain searchable.
12. Flag/report mechanism: Users may flag comments and moderators may review; not every flagged comment is removed.
13. Complaints about removed comments: We may remove protest comments; complaints may be sent to support@jiogamesstore.com.
14. JioGames may excerpt your comments: We may modify and reproduce comments or excerpts across media and platforms.
15. Repeated abuse: Repeated abuse may lead to suspension of privileges; if you believe action was in error, write to support@jiogamesstore.com
JIOGAMES ESPORTS: TOURNAMENT PARTICIPATION RULES
PARTICIPATION
1.1 Upon successfully creating an account on the Application, you will be required to create a user profile for participating in Tournaments and to enter a valid Game ID Registration and in-game name as may be required.
1.2 Certain Tournaments may require participation in teams of two (2) or more users.
1.3 You may create a team or join a team upon invitation; the team creator may add/remove users in accordance with the Tournament rules.
1.4 Upon selecting a Tournament, you may receive match details, schedules and fixtures through SMS and/or email, and you shall participate on your Device as per the details provided.
1.5 YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE TOURNAMENT MAY BE FREE OF COST UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. WHERE PAYOUTS ARE OFFERED, KYC AND VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS MAY APPLY AS PER APPLICABLE LAW AND OPERATIONAL PROCESSES.
1.6 You must comply with the rules and regulations of the game and Tournament displayed in the relevant Tournament section; JPL may disqualify users/teams for violations, cheating, manipulation, or breach of these Terms.
WINNERS AND PRIZES
2.1 JPL may publish leaderboard information from time to time. The leaderboard is indicative only and may not be real-time or fully synchronized across users; leaderboard data shall not be treated as evidence for dispute purposes.
2.2 Winners may be determined on the basis of verified scores, backend verification, anti-cheat review, eligibility criteria, and/or, where disclosed, randomization mechanisms, and JPL's final verified results shall be binding to the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law.
2.3 Winners shall be entitled to prizes as conveyed on the Application from time to time.
2.4 JPL may decide the number of winners and announce prizes in accordance with Tournament communications and sponsor terms.
2.5 JPL will rely on contact information provided by the user at the time of registration.
2.6 If JPL is unable to contact a winner, or if the winner fails to respond or provide sufficient proof within the timelines communicated (including a 30-day claim window where applicable), the prize may be forfeited and reallocated as per Tournament rules, and no further claims shall be entertained.
2.7 JPL reserves the right to determine timelines and methodology of winner selection and may offer, modify, or withdraw prizes as permitted by Applicable Law and Tournament terms.
2.8 Prize delivery and sponsor-provided prizes shall be subject to sponsor terms; neither JPL nor the sponsor shall be responsible where a winner refuses, is unavailable, or is unable to accept prize delivery.
TAXES (TDS / WITHHOLDING)
All payments/credits/prizes to winners shall be subject to deduction of tax at source (TDS) or withholding tax, as applicable, in accordance with the Income-tax Act, 1961 and rules thereunder. JPL shall deduct applicable taxes, deposit such taxes with the relevant governmental authorities, and provide withholding certificates/reports within prescribed timelines, and the winner shall provide PAN and such documentation as may be required. The winner shall be responsible for any additional tax liability and shall indemnify JPL against claims, demands, interest or penalties arising due to incorrect information, non-compliance, or additional withholding requirements imposed by authorities.
